Summary: Simply amazing Ryokan experience! There are no words to fully describe my appreciation to Kamuro An experience & Okami, the host. My expectation of wanting a ryokan experience were beyond met. I have stayed at many nice hotels but this was better than anything I ever had. The host's dedication to show her guests Japanese traditions and cuisine is commendable, lot of hard work behind. Kamuro An is also located at a very prime location, steps away from Kyoto’s popular Kiyomizu-Dera temple & Gion/Geiko neighborhood. I walked to all the prime areas of Kyoto from Kamuro An. Okami specially made a vegetarian friendly breakfast for me which is the best meal of my entire trip in Japan.
